Our commitment
Niagara Jazz Festival is committed to meeting the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation. This website is built to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
What we have done
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 on every surface, including the orange rail.
- Body text never smaller than 16px; layouts reflow from 320px without horizontal scrolling.
- Every control works with a keyboard and shows a visible focus ring; the timeline rail supports arrow keys.
- The age/location gate is a native dialog that traps focus and returns it when closed.
- Semantic headings, landmarks, and tables with row and column headers.
- Live jackpot and countdown updates are announced politely, not intrusively.
- Motion is reduced automatically when your system asks for reduced motion.
- Tested with axe DevTools, WAVE, keyboard-only navigation and the NVDA screen reader.
Known limitations
Ticket purchase happens on Rafflebox, a third-party platform whose accessibility we do not control. If you cannot complete a purchase there, contact us and we will help you find an alternative.

You can request any content on this site — including the Raffle Rules of Play and our policies — in an alternative format such as large print, plain text or audio. Email privacy@niagarajazzfestlval.com and we will respond within 5 business days.
