Who we are
Niagara Jazz Festival (“we”, “us”) is a registered Canadian charity (CRA No. ), PO Box 20006 RPO Grantham Ave, St. Catharines, ON L2M 7W7. This policy applies to niagarajazzfestlval.com and to our Online 50/50 Raffle.

Who we share it with
- Rafflebox Technologies Inc. (Halifax, NS) — raffle platform: ticket sales, draws, winner records.
- Payment processors — Stripe and the processors used by Rafflebox, Showpass (event tickets), Square / CanadaHelps (donations).
- Email providers — SendGrid or Mailgun for transactional email; our newsletter provider for marketing email you opted into.
- Google — Analytics 4 and Google Ads, only with your cookie consent and under Google Consent Mode v2.
- Regulators — the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) on request, and law enforcement where required by law.
Some providers store data outside Canada (e.g. the United States). Where they do, it is subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. We do not sell personal information.
Publication of winners
As a condition of our licence, and to keep draws transparent, we publish the winning ticket number, the winner’s first name and last initial, and their city on this website and on Rafflebox. We never publish a winner’s address, phone number or email.

Cookies

Marketing email (CASL)
We only send festival news to people who have given express opt-in consent — the box is never pre-checked. Every email includes our mailing address and an unsubscribe link, and we honour unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.
Your rights
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Withdraw consent for marketing or cookies at any time.
- Complain to our Privacy Officer, and if unresolved, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC), priv.gc.ca, 1-800-282-1376.
Security and breaches
The site is served over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+) with HSTS and a Content Security Policy. Access to raffle records is limited to authorised staff and Rafflebox. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify the OPC and affected individuals as PIPEDA requires.
Children
The raffle is restricted to adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through the raffle. Youth program registrations are handled with parent or guardian consent and are not covered by the raffle systems.
Changes
We will post any changes here with a new version number and date. Material changes to how we use your data will be announced on the site before they take effect.
