- Thinking about gambling most of the time.
- Feeling guilty or anxious after buying tickets.

Set a budget first
Decide what you can afford before you buy. Then stop there.
Never chase losses
A loss isn’t owed back. Buying more doesn’t change the odds.
Don’t play when you’re low
Stress, anger, or sadness make bad company for gambling.
Treat it as a donation
Half your ticket goes to youth jazz. That’s the win you control.
Take breaks
Skip a draw. The raffle will still be here next month.
How the raffle actually works
- The winner is picked by a certified random number generator
- Nothing you do — timing, quantity, luck rituals — changes the odds
