The Niagara Jazz Festival Online 50/50 Raffle (the “Raffle”) is conducted by (the “Licensee”), a registered charity, under electronic raffle licence issued by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), effective and expiring . The Raffle is operated on the Rafflebox platform (Rafflebox Technologies Inc., 1877 Hollis Street, Suite 500, Halifax, NS B3J 1W5), an AGCO-registered gaming-related supplier.
2. Eligibility
- Purchasers must be 18 years of age or older at the time of purchase.
- Purchasers must be physically located in the Province of Ontario at the time of purchase. Tickets will not be sold to anyone outside Ontario, regardless of residence.
- Directors and officers of the Licensee, the Raffle Manager, and any person involved in conducting the draw, together with members of their immediate household, are not eligible.
- Confirmation of age and location is required before purchase; attempts are logged (date, time, IP address, browser).
3. Tickets and price
Tickets are sold online only at rafflebox.ca. Prices: . Ticket numbers are generated electronically and emailed to the purchaser; the electronic record held by Rafflebox is the official record. Tickets are not transferable and no refunds are issued once purchased, except as required by AGCO.

4. Prize
The prize is 50% of gross ticket sales for the draw period (the “Jackpot”), guaranteed to be at least 50% of revenue. The current Jackpot is displayed on the raffle page and updated at least every five minutes during sales. The remaining proceeds fund the Licensee’s .
5. Draw
The draw takes place on at at . The winning ticket is selected by . The draw is witnessed and recorded. If the scheduled draw cannot take place, the Licensee will notify AGCO and post the rescheduled time on this website.
6. Results
The winning ticket number is published on this website and on Rafflebox within 24 hours of the draw. The winner is contacted using the details provided at purchase. The winner’s first name, last initial and city may be published; no address is ever published.
7. Claiming the prize and ID verification
- The winner must present government-issued photo identification confirming they are 18+ and provide evidence they were located in Ontario at the time of purchase.
- The prize is paid by cheque or electronic transfer within 30 days of successful verification.
- The winner may be asked to consent to the publication of their name and city and to a photo for publicity purposes.
8. Unclaimed prizes
Prizes are held for a minimum of six (6) months from the draw date. If the prize remains unclaimed after that period, and after reasonable attempts to contact the winner, the Licensee will, with the consent of AGCO, transfer the unclaimed prize in accordance with AGCO direction. By purchasing a ticket, participants consent to this process.
9. Records
Ticket sale records are retained for at least one (1) year after the draw. Financial records, draw records and winner verification records are retained for at least four (4) years, as required by AGCO, and made available to AGCO on request.

11. General
The Licensee may cancel or amend the Raffle only with AGCO approval. Decisions of the Licensee, consistent with these Rules and AGCO requirements, are final.
