Online 50/50 Raffle
The raffle is governed by the Raffle Rules of Play, which form part of these Terms and prevail over them in any conflict. Tickets may only be purchased by persons who meet all eligibility requirements set out in the Raffle Rules of Play, including the applicable age, residency and location requirements. Payments and third-party services
- Raffle tickets — online raffle ticket sales and electronic raffle services are facilitated through Rafflebox Technologies Inc. The Niagara Jazz Festival remains the licensee responsible for conducting and managing the raffle in accordance with the applicable AGCO lottery licence and Raffle Rules of Play.
- Event tickets are sold through Showpass under its terms.
- Donations are processed through Square or CanadaHelps; tax receipts are issued as permitted for a registered charity.
We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of these third-party services beyond what the law requires.
Refunds
Raffle tickets are non-refundable except where AGCO requires a refund (for example, a cancelled draw). Event tickets follow the refund policy stated at the time of purchase. Donations are non-refundable except in the case of processing error.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, logos, photographs, audio and video — belongs to Niagara Jazz Festival or its licensors. You may share links and quote short excerpts with attribution; any other use requires written permission.
Acceptable use
You must not attempt to circumvent the age or location verification, interfere with the site’s security, scrape it, or use it for anything unlawful.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided “as is”. We make reasonable efforts to ensure that raffle information, including ticket sales periods, draw dates, prize amounts and results, is accurate. In the event of any discrepancy, the official raffle records maintained in accordance with the Raffle Rules of Play and applicable AGCO requirements will prevail. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Ontario law, Niagara Jazz Festival is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the site or the raffle. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
